breakfast and goodbyes

i love taking time for a good breakfast - this is what it looks like :)

tomorrow will probably the last morning in a while where i'll have such a big breakfast, it's the last day of my internship and i don't look forward to it at all. the colleagues have been so kind to me, i really feel like a part of the team already! i'll buy them lunch tomorrow & bring lots of fresh vegetables, dressings and toppings as a goodbye gift. i also got them lots of chocolate and tea, don't worry ;)

you probably heard about the attacks in Brussels Airport and a subway station - it's all over the news.
i am very shocked about what happened in our capital. this morning i felt so strange on the train, everyone was very quiet and there were barely any people at the train station. the daily newspaper was full with tough facts about what happened and i felt like crap because the world is a mess.
i'm happy that i don't know anyone who's involved in the attacks but i know several people who were around. this attackleaves me speechless. i feel terrible for the people who didn't survive the attack and think about their families and friends. we have to support each other in times like these.

we found this little one in our backyard, it fell down from its nest. we tried to save it by feeding it, as we did with another birdie in March, but unfortunately it wasn't ready for life... :/

Hi guys! Normally, my boyfriend and i were supposed to catch our train Saturday to go to Aachen for two days, but in Belgium they love to strike and make sure that people won't get anywhere by train. We have no idea if that train will be on time and if there will be other trains, but we don't want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere so we decided not to go and move the weekend until September. We also cancelled our stay in our hotel in Aachen City, which is a real pity!

On the other hand, i'm releaved to be home this weekend since i already had a busy workweek (getting up at 4.50 am) and lots of things to do! We decided to get some rest and chill out this weekend!

lost my camera at ITB Berlin :(

hi guys! i just came back from Berlin and i lost my camera over there at the ITB fare on Wednesday, March 4. 
it's a black Nikon P510 with a strap with flowers. all my pictures from Berlin are on it and i really want it back!!

hi guys! i know i haven't been posting much lately. the reason: school and exams. i have so much stuff to do and have so much things to study that i don't even have time to look after my blog!
but in about a week, my exams will be finished and i will go on a trip to Porto!
afterwords, i'll write some posts with a lot of pictures from my trip & other things.
