flowers

Yesterday, it was a 'treat yourself' kind of day; i had my feet taken care off, with a small massage and everything due to a gift coupon i got for New Year's. Afterwards, i made a quick stop at the flower shop from my boyfriend's aunt and bought some flowers; ranunculus & gerberas. I'm very happy with them and they also cheer up the house when it's cold and freezing outside :)

Brussels

A while ago - as in: last year - my friend and I wanted to go to the MIMA museum in Brussels. I bought my trainticket and then checked the timetable from the museum, it was closed :( I texted my friend and we both decided to go to Brussels anyway since I already had my ticket and we acted like tourists, haha. We spotted some nice wall art, ate a vegetarian pitta and walked a lot. We went home after a couple of hours to have a coffee in our hometown. It was nice, we had a great time and the company was lovely :)

a gift to myself - ALICE

as i told you, i was going to show you some pictures of the illustrated version of Alice in Wonderland - a lovely book! I'm very happy that i bought it! Last Friday, i went to the theatre with my boyfriend to check out the newest version of Alice; Alice Through the looking Glass. It was a very nice movie with lots of nice effects. I'm a really big fan of Disney so this book was very appropriate to put in my collection :D

i'll be making my suitcase today and have to fix lots of practical things!

Ghent

hi guys! i'm going to Ghent by train daily and right now, they're decorating the train station with lovely flowers due to an event that's coming soon. i took these pictures with my tablet, i know they're not fabulous but i just wanted to share them! if there's an evolution of their work this week, i'll try to take a picture as well & keep you all up to date!

internship - first week

Hi guys! As i mentioned in my previous blogpost, the 1st of February was the first week of my internship in Ghent. It has been very busy, but also very nice! It kinda feels like home already (or is that a weird thing to say after the first week? ;)). Anyways, on Friday i went to a holiday fair in Brussels all day and i had to give explanation about the different organisations we offer. Here are some pictures to show where i spent most of my day - i got home at 9 pm and was very hungry. Luckily my mom ordered Chinese & i ate some delicious rice with curry sauce, lots of vegetables and some scampi.

a brand new start - part two
