Hi there! We left the 24th of June to Kenya and had a very long layover in the airport of Nairobi the 25th of June so we decided to get out of the airport and go into the city! We visited the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. They feed the elephants from 11 am til noon and it was lovely to see. After that, we went to the Giraffe Centre to feed some of the giraffes and just look at them because they're one of the most beautiful animals I've ever seen! It was a great introduction to Kenya and its wildlife and roads and it was definitely a lot more fun than just staying in the airport ;)
after our daytour in Nairobi, we took an inbound flight with 540 aviation to Kisumu where our volunteer adventure started!
