Happy New Year! Hope you will have a blast this year!

To celebrate my birthday in December last year, we went to Ghent. We had a great time and i also got some presents, but also bought myself some :) we went to the place where i did my internship, and i got a lovely cookbook called 'my street food kitchen', the recipes look amazing! 

I bought my first fairtrade eco jeans from MUD, which will last a lifetime, and if it doesn't, you can send it back to the producer and they will make new jeans from it or just cut the jeans into tiny little pieces and make sweaters from it, amazing (website: https://www.supergoods.be/)! In the supergoods store in Ghent, i also treated myself with some Tony's Chocolonely, never enough of that chocolate ;) 

We got a small sample from Seepje, some eco detergent to do your laundry and i got a Petzl from my boyfriend. Last but not least, i got some birthdaymoney from his parents and bought myself a cotton sleeping bag liner. Happy happy me! 

You can never have enough stuff to travel! We already booked 2 trips for next year, yay!

weekend walk

a while ago, my boyfriend & i went for a weekend walk, when the weather was nicer here in Belgium ;) now it's all cold & freezing but we got some sunshine yesterday and did a long ride by bike.

Paris - part two

second part from the pictures of our trip to Paris - we visited the Arc de Triomphe, musée Rodin and the Louvre for free because of the fact that we're citizens of Europe, so if you go there and you live in Europe, don't buy tickets in advance because it doesn't make sense :) and then there's more money left for delicious food & souvenirs haha. I'll be working for school today, having a coffee date with my friend and starting to read a new book. I finished 'the crossroads of should and must' by Elle Luna which i really recommend!

Budapest - part one

In September, my friend and I went to Budapest by bus. Yes, by bus. Never again. The longest busride of my life - 22 hours! There was no other option because my friend can't fly because of her health and the train to Budapest was too expensive so we went by bus, what an adventure! But still, never again by bus. The weather in Budapest was lovely though and the prices were so low! We ate so much for so little money and the city itself is beautiful! I really recommend going there, but if you take the metro, make sure you validate your ticket (if you don't, you get fined, bad start :( )

I'll be attending an event concerning interior which sounds very interesting and will also be working for school. On Monday I have to go to work and Tuesday I have an appointment for a school assignment!
